A minor demon, the Baron Mondo Von Doren was sent to the physical plane to inflict misery upon mankind through his show "Nightmare Theatre". El Sappo de Tempesto, the only son of a Mexican sharecropper and a Hungarian go-go dancer, serves as the baron's faithful henchman / lacky.
