So, what is this ScreamTV thing anyway? 

ScreamTV is the network devoted entirely to horror, suspense, thrillers and chillers. We're the only network that's truly run by the fans, for the fans.

Where else can you find non-stop horror, suspense and thrillers playing 24 hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred sixty five days a year? We've been doing just that with the ScreamStream since October of 2005.

ScreamTV has been around since way back in 1999, when our founding fathers first put their heads together and came up with the idea for an all horror network. At the time, someone else was already trying to trademark Horror Network, and Horror Channel (two separate someones as a matter of fact). Our progenitors didn't want to limit the network by showing only horror movies. They wanted to encompass all things scary. All things creepy. All things that make you scream.

And so it was that ScreamTV came to be. Born in a seedy bar somewhere on the island of Maui after a few too many mai tais and not enough adult supervision.

In the years that followed, ScreamTV slowly but steadily began to grow and evolve. First, as a simple website with a few simple programming ideas. (Those ideas were quickly stolen by a band of rampaging Canadians. You know who you are!) Then, as special Halloween programming in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. Finally, as an internet channel with 24/7 programming of classic movies and television.

Today, ScreamTV stands on the verge of becoming the answer to the dark prayers of horror fans everywhere. We've teamed up with independent filmmakers and artists to redesign our website and revamp our programming. We've added our own original programming, and invited others with like ideas to submit their own programming as well.

Soon -- very soon, and with your help -- ScreamTV will begin to seep into the minds of the mainstream. Everyone will begin to wonder, why hasn't this been done before?

Just like we did way back in 1999.
